What will be your mission?

 

As Guest Relations specialist, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring a superior, refined, and luxurious guest experience from the initial contact through their entire stay. This role involves maintaining the highest service standards, managing guest feedback, and fostering seamless coordination across departments in all matters related to quality. 

What will you do?

 

  • Extend a genuine and warm welcome to arriving guests providing a professional introduction to the hotel and assist with check-in procedures. 
  • Be consistently visible and available for guests, resolving inquiries and maintaining frequent contact during their stay and address guest issues and assist with additional services, such as transportation, reservations, and local recommendations. 
  • Assist the Guest Relations Manager in maintaining quality standards and ensure timely response to guest reviews, handle comments, suggestions, and complaints, and collaborate with department heads to execute action plans. 
  • Develop positive connections with guests, anticipating their needs to deliver personalized service and recognize and treat repeat guests and VIPs in accordance with the hotel's standards and VIP policy. 
  • Collect and analyze guest feedback through surveys, reviews, and direct communication and take decisive action to enhance guest experiences and communicate necessary changes to the hotel staff. 
  • Work closely with various hotel departments to coordinate guest services and ensure a seamless experience. 
  • Keep accurate and up-to-date guest profiles, including preferences and special requests. 
  • Identify opportunities for upselling hotel services and effectively communicate their value to guests. 
  • Possess thorough knowledge of destination services and key contacts ensuring that provided information aligns with quality standards and corporate identity.
  • Assist and support the Guest Relations Manager in commercial activities, including event preparation, organizing site inspections, and communicating relevant information. 
What are we looking for?

 

  • Education in Hospitality Management, Tourism, Business Administration, or a relevant field is recommended.  
  • Prior experience in a guest-centric environment, preferably within the hospitality industry with knowledge of hotel procedures. 
  • International experience is highly valued. 
  • Fluent in the local language and proficient in English; additional language(s) is a plus. 
  • Exceptional communication skills (verbal and written) with a proactive approach to resolving issues. 
  • Demonstrated customer focus, consistently exceeding guest expectations. 
  • Adaptability in communication styles to provide personalized service tailored to guests' preferences, needs, lifestyles, and interaction preferences. 
  • Ability to influence cross-departmental collaboration toward shared quality goals. 
  • Excellent problem-solving and multitasking skills. 
  • Flexibility and availability to work varying shifts, including weekends, based on hotel occupancy and events.

The Role of Assistant Director of People and Culture The Four Seasons Hotel Madrid is looking for an Assistant Director of People and Culture to join our team. The Assistant Director of People and Culture works closely alongside the Director of People and Culture and oversees the day to day running of the People and Culture function. The Assistant Director of People and Culture is as true driver of the employee experience. As an essential member of the People and Culture Team, you are responsible for assisting people bring their best selves to work, achieving their dreams, and building their self-confidence. You will create an environment that focuses on fairness, inclusion, and is service centric. The Assistant Director of People + Culture will oversee the growth and development of the People + Culture team, oversee activities including employee relations, workforce planning, coaching and development of both leaders and employees, and culture building. People and Culture functions: Assess the needs in areas such as performance management, employee relations, compensation, career development and leadership development and drive the appropriate solutions in these areas. Act as liaison between employee and management to answer questions or concerns regarding company policies, practices and regulations. Identify, analyze and initiate appropriate actions to resolve employee concerns. Manage the financial issues for the People and Culture budget including benefits, labor & salary reports and plan cost effective events within the People and Culture budget guidelines. Work closely with Finance regarding labor meeting, employee attestations, wage and hour training. Organize and supervise all employee programs - recognition celebrations, community outreach, internal meetings, etc. Respond to employee claims, Workers’ Compensation, Unemployment and Wage & Hour. Act as liaison between employee and management to answer questions or concerns regarding company policies, practices and regulations. Work harmoniously and professionally with co-workers and supervisors while maintaining the confidentiality of People and Culture. Responsible for hiring process, including contracting and onboarding. Coordinates all aspects of recruitment including job postings, interviews and job offers, tracking applicants and ensuring follow up. Understanding the importance of Interviewing and providing guidance and counsel to our managers throughout the process. Own recruitment and find innovative ways to find staff. Review and analyze recruitment trends: Turnover, Resort Promotions, local and industry information. Create and develop opportunities to attract, develop and retain people to achieve their fullest potential. Develop own team and supports L&D Manager in her global role. Our ideal Assistant Director of People and Culture candidate will have: Previous experience in similar position. Excellent writte and verbal skills. High level of English and a minimum average level of Spanish is required. Exposure to labor law and employment equity regulations. Effective HR administration and people management skills. Full understanding of HR functions and best practices. Works well under pressure and meets tight deadlines. Highly computer literate with capability in email, MS Office and related business and communication tools. Fantastic organizational and time management skills. Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills. Attention to detail. Must have the legal right to work in Spain. Buscamos un Técnico de Recursos Humanos con experiencia en administración de personal y gestión de nómina para unirse a nuestro equipo. Esta posición será clave en el manejo de todos los aspectos relacionados con la administración de personal, garantizando el cumplimiento normativo y la eficiencia operativa en las áreas de nómina, contratos laborales, selección y relaciones laborales. Responsabilidades principales: Dar soporte a todos los hoteles gestionados en materia de administración de personal y nominas. Colaborar en la gestión y revisión del proceso completo de nómina, asegurando el cálculo correcto de salarios, deducciones, impuestos y otros conceptos relacionados. Mantener actualizada la base de datos del personal y la documentación requerida para la administración de los empleados (contratos, expedientes, permisos, etc.). Brindar apoyo en la elaboración y actualización de contratos laborales y gestionar la relación contractual con los empleados. Gestionar altas, bajas y movimientos en los sistemas de la seguridad social y organismos correspondientes. Dar soporte en los procesos de reclutamiento y selección, así como la inducción de nuevos empleados. Proveer orientación y apoyo en consultas de empleados sobre temas de nómina, beneficios, políticas y procedimientos. Asegurar el cumplimiento normativo en todos los aspectos de la administración de personal, manteniéndose actualizado en la legislación laboral y regulaciones aplicables.
